This diary is short, but Kos and I share a love for the Northsiders and so I proclaim the result-San Diego over the Brewers 6-3. Cubs win the Central Division NL!
The Cubs snatched themselves away from The Curse (TM) temporarily, halting a 3 game slide against the Marlins to rout the Reds at Cincinnati earlier this evening 6-0. Hopefully this is a return to form.
We still don't know who the Cubs will face in the playoffs, as any one of four teams could still be the Wild Card entry, according to this evening's standings.
Congratulations to my favorite team.
